What is Medisco SkinBooster AC BHA?
EVIE KOREA formulated SkinBooster AC BHA for problem-prone skin: AHA and BHA remove dead skin cells and excess sebum and clear impurities from clogged pores, while CICA-BIOTICS and allantoin soothe sensitive skin and support its barrier. The acids work at different levels — the water-soluble AHA on the surface, the lipid-soluble BHA and LHA inside the pore.
The AHA content is a blend of lactic acid (5,670 ppm) and glycolic acid (4,410 ppm). The BHA is salicylic acid; the LHA is capryloyl salicylic acid, a lipid-soluble derivative of salicylic acid with a pH of around 5.5, which EVIE KOREA describes as gentle and low-irritating.

How is it used?

Prepare
Cleanse the face thoroughly to remove make-up and impurities, then apply a generous, even layer of the ampoule over the area to be treated, so the device works on a smooth, hydrated base.

Choose the needle
Needle length follows skin condition and programme: long needles (1.0 mm or longer) when the booster is used on its own; nano or middle-length needles when it is combined with BB Glow.

Treat
Work the ampoule in with the MTS device from the chin towards the forehead, against the direction of the facial muscles. If the ampoule dries, apply more during the treatment. Application time: 10 minutes.
EVIE KOREA states that a Microneedling Therapy System should not be used on people with a keloid constitution, diabetes complications, skin infections or bleeding diseases.
Precautions
- Contains AHA, which may increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight: test on a small area first and apply sunscreen.
- Contains BHA (salicylic acid): do not use on children under 3 years old.
- The high acid content can give a sour smell and a yellowish colour, and natural pigments vary by batch; EVIE KOREA states that this does not affect quality or usability.
- Applied to the skin with an MTS device — not for injection.
