What is Medisco Peelieve Peeling?

A spicule peel uses microscopic prickles of coral calcium, rich in minerals — EVIE KOREA also calls it an FCR (Fractional prickle Coral Calcium Regeneration) peel. Rubbed into the skin, the spicules help take off dead skin cells and the sebum in the pores.

Compared with its Stayve Seanergy Peel, EVIE KOREA describes Peelieve as having fewer spicule particles and a slightly viscous solution, so it dries less during rubbing, is less painful and sheds small flakes rather than large ones. It is presented as suitable for sensitive skin and for people concerned about strong peeling.

How is it used?

  1. 01

    Choose the dose

    Face, medium peel: 0.5 g powder + 4 ml solution (half of each vial). Face, strong peel: 1 g + 8 ml (one whole set). The entire back: 2–3 g + 16–24 ml (two to three sets).

  2. 02

    Rub it in

    Treatment time is 6–8 minutes; do not exceed a total rubbing time of 7–10 minutes. If the skin becomes dry, spray clean water and continue rubbing.

  3. 03

    Short of solution

    It can be replaced by mixing in a facial mist with a standard hydrating formula — not one containing alcohol, AHA, BHA, PHA or oil.

  4. 04

    Aftercare

    EVIE KOREA’s S-Light Peel Programme follows the peel with Peelieve Cica Cream.

Precautions

  • Avoid the skin around the eyes and the eyelids: it is the thinnest part of the body, and spicules can cause severe irritation and swelling there.
  • Itching is a natural symptom while dead skin forms: do not scratch or peel it off by force.
  • Apply sunscreen when going outside.
  • Visible exfoliation may be subtle or absent, depending on the skin.
  • For sensitive or problematic skin, test on a small area first.
  • The technique needs practice: rubbing too softly lifts fewer dead skin cells.
